The Parish has a long history of providing Eucharistic celebrations, spiritual guidance and support to the broader community to the Caribbean Roman Catholic community of the GTA.

Bringing Gods Kingdom nearer to people by assisting them in worship to God and understanding the liturgy and imparting a new awareness of Catholicism to those who may have strayed away from their Faith.

Many of the vibrant hymns sung at the Sunday Eucharist celebrations were composed by both lay composers and priests from the Caribbean such as Gary Sankar (Guyana), Liewellyn Gill (St Lucia), Fr. Garfield Rochard (Trinidad), and Fr. Richard Ho Lung (Jamaica).

Unique to the Parish is the Cafeteria service on sunday which serve Caribbean refreshments in the lower hall after mass, such as; bake, buljoul, mauby, sweet bread, and coconut ice cream, many parishioners travel to the church from areas such as Hamilton, Missiauga, Ajax, Pickering. The Parish has become the place of worship not only for new immigrants from the Caribbean but also for those from various parts of Canada and the world It is the place where many fondly refer to it as the "Caribbean Catholic Church". It is the place to worship, to sing, ,to pray, to gather, a home away from home.
